They specialize in social security cases. They advertise no fee unless person is awarded benefits. They are paid as a percentage of the amount of retroactive payments that they secure for their client, so payment will not come out of your monthly SSI check.

Offers low income clients free legal advice clinics at the Family Support Center. They can work with a variety of issues, but focus on family law. 6-9PM every other Tuesday. Call ahead to participate.

Legal Assistance for Domestic Violence Survivors

SafePlace provides legal assistance in partnership with the Thurston Count Volunteer Legal Services twice a month on the 1st Thursday and 3rd Tuesday of every month. Legal issue must be related to Domestic/Sexual Violence (housing, protection order and civil cases can be DV/SA related), clients will have 30-45 min to speak with an attorney for FREE.
Clients need to be at the SafePlace Business Office any time from 6:00pm – 8:00pm to be seen by 9:00pm. NO REFERRAL NECESSARY walk-ins welcome

Thurston County CASA Program is a child advocacy program administered by Thurston County Unified Family and Juvenile Court. Their program recruits, trains and provides volunteers to advocate for the best interest of children who are involved in dependency actions in Thurston County.
The mission of the Thurston County Volunteer CASA/GAL Program is to provide trained volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocates/Guardians ad Litem to represent the best interests of abused and neglected children in dependency court proceedings. The Program is committed to providing an independent voice in court for every abused and neglected child to expedite timely and appropriate planning and intervention for permanent placement.
